the raindrops danced upon my glass window all night,
and the emotions echoed loudly, though I felt deathly quiet.
whenever it rains gloomily on my somber gray sky,
you used to appear like an umbrella and keep me dry.
the only voice that responded whenever I called,
you never gave me a rare chance for my expectations to fall.
had given me memories of seeing the same things at the same time,
once we called it ours, but now these are solely mine.
the very first time we walked together in the lanes of the cherry blossom tree,
we matched each other’s pace, despite our hands being free.
the mischievous beauty of nature was nothing in front of your soul-soothing smile,
so simple and elegant, but you wore your unique style.
that night I fell, love unfurled without a second thought,
brief happiness, a costly coin in the fate we sought.
an angel, you unveiled a world so breathtakingly divine,
only to bid adieu, leaving heartache as the sign.
destiny, at times, weaves a tale of cruel demise,
yet the flames of your love persist, reaching eternal skies.
