The Invisible String

Who knows how often our paths might have crossed.
The near encounters we might have had, till we actually meet,
cause fate decided it was not the right time yet, for us to meet.
God knows the moments, our fates,
Might have tangled with an invisible string.
But we didn’t untangle it, unaware that it exists.
What if, we breathed the same air, stepped on the same grass,
Felt the same breeze or gazed at the same stars.
But we didn’t realize, fate wanting It’s time in uniting us.
What if, the nature echoes our names to each other,
As Lulling drizzle, humming songbird, and misty whispers.
But we couldn’t catch that, not knowing the nature’s tongue.
What if, the stars sing to God, wishing for our paragon meet,
To tighten that loosely wrapped string, linking us together.
And God replies, in gentle aurora, pacifying our outgrowing need.
Foretelling us of our meet, unlike any other which will be.
Not from a page out of fiction or a marvelous folklore.
But a mystical tale from a to-be-written scripture.
Guess nature has it’s way of leading you towards your mate.
Guess our lives have always been tied together, with an invisible string.
Guess God will collide our fates together when it’s befitting.
Till then I’ll always remember, my better half also wonders,
About our fateful meet.
