“Jay”, he heard amidst the market bustling
A dignified gentleman in black suit had voiced.
Papa and I cherished red flowers blooming, heard autumn leaves rustling.
“Nature is beauty, and the real beauty lies in our hearts!”, the delicate old man rejoiced.
Quiet but wise,
Diligent and honesty sparkled in his eyes.
There are two journeys that must be undertaken;
One to win the Earthly Delights;
Another for a dawn of insight, spark of clarity and a mind so awakened
Don’t score a hundred but learn a Million;
Have 10 acquaintances but 1 true friend;
Home without family-Oh! Such a futile pavilion
Good health and roof above your head are unparallel to the worldly trends.
10 years have passed since I have heard his deep voice
Nevertheless, the echoes of his words resonate deep within me.
When I look into the eyes of my wife and children
A quiet understanding blooms deep within me.
The journey he talked about was no longer a distant dream.
The laughter of my kin is louder than the engines of my luxury cars.
A wealth that no money can ever touch.
An imperative journey that Papa with his impassive face, loved so much.
