The Silent Passage

By Ayushi Raghuvanshi

Death is not the end we fear,

But a silent passage drawing near.

A door we walk through, unaware ,

To a world unknown, beyond compare.

We question what comes after this,

A place of peace or endless abyss?

Do we linger in memories, unseen,

Or become part of a timeless dream?

Perhaps we return to dust and air,

Or find a realm where souls repair.

Maybe we’re reborn in a different guise,

Or live on in the starlit skies.

No one knows the truth for sure,

But we live on in what we endure.

In every laugh, in every tear,

In every heart we hold dear.

Death is just a change, a shift,

A gift of time, a final lift.

And in that silence, we are free,

To become part of eternity.

Yet what is life if not a fleeting dance,

A moment to cherish, a fleeting chance?

Perhaps in death, we find our truth,

A final answer, a lasting proof.
