The Sun And The Sea

The Sun and the Sea always desired to be One.

The Fireball craved to dive into the Calming Waters,

While the Aquatic Goddess wished to provide shelter to him in her Arms.

They felt the Chemistry so strongly but couldn’t express

Little did they know that the destiny will put them in Distress

God said, “You both are dear to my heart,

But for the sake of being a muse to Painters, Poets and Lovers

You are bound to sacrifice and stay apart.”

This is when the Sun had to choose the Sky

And the Sea chose the Beach.

The Sun, forever stuck with the Sky, could just stare at the Sea from a distance.

The Sea in the company of Sand, couldn’t realise her worth and forgot to soar high.

Still like True Lovers, they fight against all odds by the end of every day,

To kiss each other, and be one without any shame.

We have been witnessing this kiss everyday and SUNSET is the name we gave.

The Sea is still happy to see the fame of her beloved in this name.

But as soon as The Sun says goodbye and the Moon arrives,

She blames The Moon to take the Sun away

And her anger converts the Ripples into High Tides.

In the matters of Heart, she never lost Hope,

Though she knew destiny is something she could never Fight.
