The Three Princesses

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

I am a lovely little kid of mother Earth. We don’t need to throw a cup which we will use to sip one drink that will stay in the environment forever. Think when you throw a cup or chocolate wrapper out of your car is actually a modern problem. Littering is when you throw something anywhere.

You will be horrified to know that almost 10 billion tons of litter have been created by us, out of which 90% of it cannot be recycled. They end up in land fills, water ways, oceans and most of it in our food! Isn’t that scary?

Litter is so harmful for our surroundings. Litter, in all its forms, straws, bottles, packing bags, etc. are all chocking our planet. Litter does not only pollute the land but the water and the air too – The three Primary elements for any living being on the Earth. Litter is harmful for sea birds, marine animals, human beings and all forms of living beings.

Majority of Litter takes centuries to degrade. Yet, we are still consuming and producing more of it. We must find ways to stop littering. Whenever possible reuse, reduce and recycle. So as responsible children of Mother Nature, let’s raise our hands and take the pledge to stop littering from this moment. Let’s heal the world and make this world a better place to live in.
