The Train

By Parisha Kiran Bhatia

It all started with a hello.

I knew I had found a fellow

A buddy with unconditional love and glow

Your glow melted my heart like snow.

Tides came in high and low

My feelings like the ocean did outflow.

In your presence the soul felt sound

One day things took a turn round

In melancholy I started to drown

You tried to save me but you found

I didn't know how to act when you were around

But life is a bloody battleground

So I got up and fought till the last fatal wound

Because the queen I am that I had crowned
