It was now conventional seeing the flocks starting their journey every morning. The evenings went seeing new mischief of kids. They were the only souls that could give some pleasure to the soul of palace ruins.
Sun carried the same warmth, the breeze carried the same youth, but the only difference was that now this warmth was burning, the youth was killing. That storm had so devastating effect on the palace ruins that even the slightest breeze made it shiver with panic. The aura changed to utmost fear. The broken palace was now afraid to be happy. There was no peace around it. The palace surrendered now. Each breath still wanted somebody to come but the heart sank with every glimpse of the materialistic world. The breath again became shallow. The land is completely barren without a single blade of grass leaving the palace in complete ruins. Eyes dried and the worst, “the heart is vacant from hope”!
The destiny was such that even death could not be desired. After all, where the kids will play, where the flocks will nestle? Life has to be spent with a heavy heart just for the sake of kids and the flocks. The fate was accepted. People had changed their faces to new. New policies were declared. The palace ruins were not alone of course, but very lonely as never before.
But now what is this? At least let the land be its own.. Please don’t sell the foundation to someone.. There is nothing left for anybody.. What will you do with a barren valueless land?.. It’s only barren. This was very heart-wrenching. The palace was already in ruins and the lust for money is still luring people. Now, what do they want? It’s finished. That’s all. It’s done. At least leave the old poor soul now… Don’t sell it, don’t buy it.. The palace didn’t understand its mistake, why the people also wanted to buy its barren land, its only soul?
But now nothing can be done. The fate is written and sealed. The poor soul is sold to the rich. This was a fate when even nature cried. That night again it rained, but no raindrops, only tears, which nobody could see, only cries, which nobody could hear. The soul is finally sold. The barbaric mankind law sold the soul, the barren land. Even the breath was sold.
Some people came to check the ruins the next day. Now the sold-out heart was beating louder, nerves were numb out of fear. What’s next? Next came a machine to dismantle even the walls. Roof and soil were crushed and brought down to ashes. And the palace could not do anything. There was dust, noise, machines everywhere. There was utter chaos outside and unimaginable turmoil inside. The palace ruins screamed but the machines didn’t let the noise out.
Walls were crushed. Even the soil was beaten brutally. Crying with pain unconsciously laid the palace ruins. After some days when some water was splashed on its body, it’s face, the ruins came back to its consciousness. Exhausted it slowly opened its eyes. The dust cloud was nowhere seen. Instead, it could smell some sweet fragrance. It could sense something totally fresh. Slowly it opened its eyes and saw some kids enjoying themselves nearby. Why there is no pain now? From where is this freshness flowing in?
The palace was shocked but this time the heart was rejoicing. It realized; the origin of the pain was actually the healing process of its wounds. The walls and roof were reconstructed using the latest technology. Everything was re-built. The soul that was tortured brutally was to shape a brilliant landscape. One of the kid’s parents bought the land to make a beautiful bungalow out of it for their beloved son. The love of kids gave a new face to the barren land. It was a spectacular bungalow now! A place, where not only a happy family decided to live and make it a home; but also where happiness again found its way….The walls are now pampered again. The incident which the palace thought to be painful and brutal was actually life-saving healing for it. It was no less than a palace now.. It got re-incarnated. The courtyard was again full of kids and the flocks got their new home and nestled in the trees in the courtyard itself. Yesterday’s palace ruins got a new face now. There was life again in the surroundings. The astonishing future lay ahead.
The ruins were no more alone but a home it never expected. There was the storm, there were cries, there were ruins. It was a mishappen, but it now realized Miracles do happen!
