To Love Or To Be Loved?

Do we yearn for love from others we adore,

Or do we crave the love we give in store?

Is it the warm embrace of a friend,

Or passionate kisses that never end?

Perhaps both are true, and both are real.

Love’s joy is found, in loving how we feel;

For when we love, we find our own worth,

And in being loved, our souls take flight.
