Voice Of The Silent Sky

By Avipsha Sarkar

O sky, tell me why

‘re you in silence, so much today?

Look at the earth, Looking at you.

With thirsty eyes, full of hope.

Why aren’t you feeling sad,

Seeing the most pathetic state of the whole world?

You should have roared throughout the entire universe.

You have to cry to heal the excruciating pain of the Earth.

You pretend like you don’t have emotions!

But, why?

Sky! Why?

An unknown sound floating in air and call me,

“ O Shameless poet, How do you ask for this selfish world?”

“ I’m really saddened by the suffering of the world,

But, so sad!

It doesn’t feel sad to my sadness.”
