What is Love?

Updated: Jul 29

By Shameeksha S

what is love? Is it the blithe feeling

deep down,

but surely it isn’t something I could shove,

Or maybe it’s the serene that owns the crown.

I often seem to expect

beyond the walls of my heart

on something that would neglect

and something that’s far apart.

The love that I once sought

seems to have gone ages ago,

from the pure souls that fought

full of love, love without any ego.

So now I know what love is,

Its something that we have already lost,

Its something that we miss,

Its something that’s probably a frozen frost.

Thus, love is feeling, a feeling

far beyond human reach,

with the powers of healing

that nobody could teach!
