Why Am I A Patriot

I'll go abroad they say Toil and keep worries at bay Bright future ahead and hence good pay For how better developed those countries are So clean, so green, door to opportunities ajar India whereas is dragged by poverty so far A beggar sitting at every turn Corruption and unemployment stern Our talent and capability, due to nation's inability, Within the system burn.

I pity their thinking Born in the country, studied in the country, Country their main stem Hide their cowardice by playing a blame game A matter of shame on them. I understand being harsh isn't right But do they have an issue with their sight? Can't they see how much the nation bestowed on them day and night? When traitors disgrace my Mother India how can I be quiet? Problems like corruption, begging and poverty In every country prevail, First put your efforts, unite, curb them together And Mother India you hail. Don't back upon rendering your services, Let's not lose faith and run away during crisis India is our identity Love towards motherland is no commodity Heart swells with pride and happiness sings When in the air, our Tiranga swings We dance in joy on India's triumph in sport Then how can you say, Every Indian is not a Patriot?
