You have sad eyes. Like you've known tragedy very intimately, like it
used to reside in your eyes, like it's gone now but your eyes aren't
ready to believe. Like you had your home demolished in front of
them, like you were so close to having your 'forever' but it was seized
in a blink of an eye.
You have sad eyes. Like an eclipse before an apocalypse, like the
beauty which destroys the moment you appreciate it, like the bubble
of mist on a tiny leaf which bursts from the first ray of sunlight. You
have sad eyes. Like an ocean drowned and killed itself in them, like
the last sunset before the world was ending painted them with its
parting colours, like the reflection of your past life's lover. You have
sad eyes, like the soft, brown Earth I wish to be cremated in.
