Quarantine: a testament to time

This is a huge world,
In which we run a rat race
But finally a moment has come
To slow down, to stop and to embrace

To embrace this time
To embrace this new found peace,
A chance that is not to be missed,
For this time cannot be ceased

We ask ourselves questions
That we never asked before,
Only now we realise; the
Value of even the smallest
Of things more and more

Spending time at home
Is not a trouble nor is it a misery
Don’t wonder where we’re headed to
Just think of it as another journey

At the end, the final question is will we return to the way we were
Or will we never be the same
Will we perish, will we adapt
But for now; To live is the only aim.
