Isn’t it incredible,
How we as a generation,
Feel so empty and volcanic simultaneously?
Like a whirlwind of emotions
We house within.
And whilst we all seek solace in music and movies,
Through ginormous multiplexes and screens,
Watching in awe, the lives of others,
Which inspire and move us
We often fail to regard each other,
And all those around us,
With human value.
So everytime I connect with someone,
Over a brilliant piece of music, art or poetry,
I wonder what might happen,
If we had a real conversation
What would we discover about each other?
What could we discover about each other?
We’d maybe spot heroes,
Without their capes
So imperfectly perfect,
